It has begun to use the voice recognition technology in community paediatric services appointments for children with conditions such as autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy.
KCHFT is also planning to run the pilot with its acute response team, GPs at Northdown Surgery in Margate, Hildenborough and Tonbridge Medical Group and with clinicians at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. Adult social care workers at Kent County Council will also take part.
It said that testing has already demonstrated the technology’s ability to filter extraneous noise effectively, offering a promising solution for busy clinical environments.
